What type of vehicles do we accept?
At Cars for Scrap we mainly accept cars and vans however if you have a special request then please feel free to talk to us.
What areas do we cover?
We are based in Sydney and mainly operate within the Sydney metropolitan area. However we can pickup vehicles in most suburbs. If you are interested in scrapping your car then please fill out one of our online form and we will call you to discuss whether a pickup in your location is possible.
What documents are needed?
You will need to provide registration papers  or a purchase receipt as proof of ownership of the vehicle & your drivers licences or other forms of personal identification.
What happens to my number plates?
You will need to remove your number plates & return them to your local RTA

Does it cost anything to remove my car?
No - all unwanted cars are removed for FREE. On top of that, we will also pay you cash for every car depending on its condition!

Car Collection
Before we pick up your vehicle you will be contacted by our unwanted vehicle collection section. The collection of your unwanted vehicle will be arranged for you to suit your needs and time requirements.

Disposal of Unwanted Cars
All vehicle disposals are arranged by us personally. Each disposal is done safely and hygienically to help protect the environment.

Removal of Abandoned Vehicles
We also arrange the removal of abandoned vehicles. Most Sydney suburbs have old abandoned vehicles parked in inconvenient places. As soon as the vehicle has been declared abandoned we can then arrange immediate pickup.

Car Removal

As well as cars we can also arrange to pickup scrap motorcycles. Just like cars your scrap motor bikes can be taken away for free and whenever it suits you It doesn't matter if your motorcycle is intact and roadworthy or smashed beyond repair we will come and take it off your hands.

Scrap Vans, Utes & Trucks
We also remove scrap vans and utes free of charge. We don't just deal with cars will also deal in scrap vans, utes and small trucks. what most people do not realise is that all types of vans, utes and all types of commercial vehicles can be taken, e.g. Trippers, Drop side, Flat back, Refrigeration.

Scrap Car Collection
Scrap car collection can be costly. Most people would go to a scrap yard to have the vehicle taken away, in the past this may have been cheap or even free but now it has become very expensive. We offer a free scrap car collection service in Sydney areas. There is no catch, and it is absolutely free.

The disposal of all scrap cars will be sorted by us in the most environmentally friendly way, the tyres and any working parts will be removed. The rest of the vehicle will be crushed and recycled.
